MANILA, Philippines — Over P77.9 million worth of illegal drugs were seized during a month-long nationwide operation, according to the Philippine National Police – Drug Enforcement Group (PNP-DEG).
In a report on Wednesday, PNP-DEG said the narcotics were confiscated in 71 anti-drug operations, involving 80 suspects, from October 1 to 31.

According to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency’s latest data, the Marcos administration’s anti-drug campaign has so far netted a total of P49.82 billion worth of narcotics to date. — Emmanuel John Abris, INQUIRER.net intern
